She has over 25 years of experience ranging from Emergency Room social worker to variety of other mental health settings.
Bahareh holds a Bachelors degree from University of Washington and a Masters Degree in Existential Phenomenological Psychology from Seattle University.
Bahareh is a certified level I Gottman therapist and applies his teachings when working with couples. She finds his techniques to be very effective in helping couples create better connection, communication and intimacy.
Bahareh is also a certified Trauma Specialist and certified in Prolonged Exposure Therapy in treating PTSD, Trauma and phobias. She is also a member of the international trauma association.
Bahareh is in the midst of training with the Evaluation Alliance for Human rights conducting assessments for individuals and families who are victims of torture and seeking asylum in the United States for racial, political, social, sexual orientation, and religious persecution.
Bahareh is a WA state approved supervisor and currently supervising LMHCA working towards licensure.
